About the Company

Collimator photoNuclear Fields is part of the Van Mullekom Group and was founded in The Netherlands in 1978. The company is privately owned and has factories and offices in the USA, Australia, The Netherlands, Germany, and The Czech Republic. All factories share a common ground in engineering that can be applied to many different industries.

The core competence of Nuclear Fields is building collimators for radiation detection devices used with Nuclear Medicine gamma cameras and CT-scanners. For many years we have been supplying our products to camera builders such as GE, Philips, Siemens, Digirad, Dilon etc. We also still service collimators for older legacy systems like Elscint, ADAC, Picker, Toshiba, Hitachi, SMV etc. We are asked by prominent research universities, such as Johns Hopkins and Mayo Clinic to develop special collimators for new and exciting applications. We take pride that Nuclear Fields contributes to the improvement of radiation detection!

We are well known for our superior quality Micro-cast® collimators, which are still considered the gold standard in Nuclear Medicine. Next to that we have developed new (automated) techniques to improve quality and lower costs.

We are familiar with every collimator design made over the past 40 years, so that makes us the number one source for your collimator needs; whether this is for a standard or custom made collimator. For new applications, please contact us in the early development stages, so we can explain the variability as well as the limitations.

These last years we have branched out to CT applications where we are able to cross-over our collimator technology and develop it into more affordable anti-scatter devices.
